Cleaning Carbonized Components

Apply Jimo Descarbonizante over a carbonization and let it act for a while. If necessary, reapply the product.

Cleaning Carburetors

Remove the air filter and spray the inner and outer surface of the carburetor and connections with Jimo Descarbonizante. Start the engine. Spray small intermittent jets in the diffuser (throat) of the carburetor to clean the choke, diffuser and butterflies. Accelerate slowly to remove engine deposits and ensure a smooth neutral. If necessary, readjust the air/fuel mixture. For automatic chokes, remove the air filter and, with the engine off, spray both sides of the choke valve while opening and closing it manually.

Cleaning Nozzles

With the engine warm, turn off the power to the fuel pump and run the engine until exhausting all the remaining fuel in the line. Turn off the fuel line inlet manifold and apply Jimo Descarbonizante, pressing the nozzle or starting the engine. Let the product act for a few moments. Reinstall the system and run the engine. Change the oil and engine filter.
