Spray JIMO Descarbonizante onto the carbon buildup and let it work for a few moments. Reapply if necessary.
Remove the air filter and spray the inside and outside of the carburetor and its linkages with JIMO Descarbonizante. Start the engine. Spray short, intermittent bursts into the carburetor throat to clean the choke, venturi, and throttle plates. Slowly rev the engine to clear deposits and restore a smooth idle. If necessary, readjust the air/fuel mixture. For automatic chokes, remove the air filter and, with the engine off, spray both sides of the choke plate while manually opening and closing it.
With the engine warm, disconnect power to the fuel pump and run the engine until the fuel remaining in the line is used up. Disconnect the inlet line from the fuel rail, then apply JIMO Descarbonizante while pulsing the injector or cranking the engine. Let the product work for a few moments. Reassemble the system and start the engine. Change the engine oil and filter.
