Apply JIMO Descarbonizante over the carbon buildup and let it act for a few moments. Reapply the product if necessary.
Remove the air filter and spray the internal and external surfaces of the carburetor and its connections with JIMO Descarbonizante. Start the engine. Spray short, intermittent bursts into the carburetor diffuser (throat) to clean the choke, diffuser, and throttle plates. Slowly rev the engine to remove deposits and ensure a smooth idle. If necessary, readjust the air/fuel mixture. For automatic chokes, remove the air filter and, with the engine off, spray both sides of the choke valve while manually opening and closing it.
With the engine warm, disconnect the fuel pump's electrical supply and run the engine until all remaining fuel in the line is used up. Disconnect the inlet pipe from the fuel distributor tube and then apply JIMO Descarbonizante, pulsing the injector or starting the engine. Let the product act for a few moments. Reinstall the system and start the engine. Change the engine oil and filter.
