JIMO Cupim Solvent-Based Colorless does not alter the wood’s color
Ready-to-use product. Do not dilute with solvents or other products.
For the product to penetrate deep into the wood grain, the wood must be dry and unfinished. If it already has a finish, remove it with sandpaper or a stripper. If removal isn't possible, apply JIMO Cupim Aerosol locally to the exit holes or hollow areas that indicate the presence of insects.
Apply with a brush, sprayer, or by immersion.
Apply a generous coat to all sides of the wood.
Generally, 30 seconds of immersion is enough. Use a tank sized to the material being treated, and to avoid wasting the preservative, install a drainage channel to collect the runoff for reuse.
