If the wood to be treated already has some type of finish, it must be completely removed before applying the product so that it can penetrate the wood structure.
As the product is intended for the preventive or curative treatment of dry wood, any subsequent application of a finish, such as wax, paint, varnish, or stain, should only be carried out after the product has dried.
After applying JIMO Cupim Base Água, a slight raising of the wood fibers may occur on the surface of certain types of wood. If this happens, it is recommended to gently sand the piece before applying the finish, using a 320-grit sandpaper.
