Close and seal doors, windows, and any openings to the outside. Remove people, pets, food, and plants from the area. Open all furniture, especially kitchen cabinets, for better insecticide penetration. Cover electronics, appliances, and similar items.
In case of infestation by brown recluse spiders (Loxosceles sp.), one tube of JIMO Gás Fumigant is enough for the indicated area. If applying in an attic (the spiders' main habitat), make sure nearby water tanks are well sealed. For flea infestations, since the product only acts on adult insects and not on eggs, follow-up applications are necessary.
Remove the cap from JIMO Gás Fumigant. Keep the powder inside the tube and place it on a heat-resistant surface, such as a ceramic plate. Do not place it on wood floors, carpets, or near flammable materials, and keep it clear of objects so the smoke can disperse freely within a radius and height of 1 meter (3.3 ft).
Hold a lit match to the powder, tilting the tube slightly to aid ignition, and wait for the smoke to start. If a flame appears, blow it out gently. Always light the tubes working toward the exit, so you don't have to walk back through the smoke. Each tube burns for about 30 seconds, leaving a charred residue inside.
Leave the area immediately and keep it closed for at least 8 hours. Because of the smoke, hang a notice on the door stating that pest control is under way, to avoid alarming neighbors. If you consider it necessary, notify your local fire department.
Afterward, ventilate the area by opening all windows, then clean the space, removing any residual dust and washing dishes and clothing that were exposed.
Reapply JIMO Gás Fumigant whenever you notice insects returning.
