Close and seal doors, windows, and any openings to the outside. Remove people, animals, food, and plants from the area. Open all furniture, especially kitchen cabinets, for better insecticide penetration. Cover electronic devices, appliances, and similar items.
In case of infestation by brown recluse spiders (Loxosceles sp.), one tube of JIMO GÁS FUMIGANTE is sufficient for the indicated area. If the application is carried out in attics (the main habitat of spiders), make sure that nearby water tanks are well sealed. In the case of flea infestation, since the product only acts on adult insects and does not affect the eggs, subsequent applications of insecticide are necessary.
Remove the cap from JIMO GÁS FUMIGANTE. Keep the powder inside the tube and place it on any heat-resistant surface, such as a ceramic plate. Do not place it on wooden floors, carpets, or near flammable materials, and keep it away from objects so that the smoke can exit freely within a radius and height of 1 meter.
Bring a lit match close to the powder, slightly tilting the tube to facilitate ignition, and wait for the smoke to begin releasing. If a flame appears, extinguish it with a gentle blow. Always ignite the tubes starting from the direction of the exit to the street, so you don’t have to walk back through the smoke. The burning time per tube is approximately 30 seconds, after which a charred residue will remain inside.
Leave the area immediately and keep it closed for at least 8 hours. Due to the smoke generated, hang a notice on the door of the residence stating that pest control is being carried out, to avoid concern from neighbors. If you deem it necessary, inform the Fire Department by calling 193 to alert them about the procedure.
After this period, ventilate the area by opening all windows and proceed to clean the space, removing any residual dust and washing dishes and clothes if they were exposed.
Apply JIMO GÁS FUMIGANTE again whenever you notice reinfestation of insects.
