Protection against termite attacks
JIMO Cupinox Gel must be incorporated into the adhesives at the time they are prepared in the mixer. The mixing time of the adhesive must be sufficient to ensure complete homogenization of the mixture.
The required concentration of active ingredient is 100 to 160g/m³ of plywood when using urea-formaldehyde glue, and 160g/m³ of plywood when using phenol-formaldehyde glue. This is equivalent to using 2 to 3.2kg of Cupinox Gel per m³ of plywood (or bonded wood) when using urea-formaldehyde glue, or 3.2kg of Cupinox Gel per m³ of plywood (or bonded wood) when using phenol-formaldehyde glue.
It is recommended that adhesives containing insecticidal preservative agents be used as soon as possible after the product has been incorporated into the mixture.
For more effective results, it is recommended to use plywood manufactured with sheets less than 3mm thick.
