Protection against termite attacks
JIMO Cupinox Gel must be incorporated into the glue as it is prepared in the mixer. Mix long enough to ensure the blend is completely homogeneous.
The required active-ingredient concentration is 100 to 160 g/m³ (0.10 to 0.16 oz/ft³) of plywood with urea-formaldehyde glue, and 160 g/m³ (0.16 oz/ft³) with phenol-formaldehyde glue. This is equivalent to 2 to 3.2 kg of Cupinox Gel per m³ (0.12 to 0.20 lb/ft³) of plywood (or bonded wood) with urea-formaldehyde glue, or 3.2 kg per m³ (0.20 lb/ft³) with phenol-formaldehyde glue.
Glue containing insecticidal preservatives should be used as soon as possible after the product is mixed in.
For more effective results, use plywood made with veneers less than 3 mm (0.12 in) thick.
It’s a termiticide especially recommended for incorporation into the glue used in the furniture industry.
