For the product to penetrate deeply into the wood grain, the wood must be dry and unfinished. If it already has some type of finish, it is recommended to remove it using sandpaper or a remover. If removal is not possible, it is recommended to apply JIMO Cupim Aerosol directly to the holes or hollow wood spots that indicate the presence of insects.
Application can be done with a brush, sprayer, or by immersion.
One generous coat must be applied to all sides of the wood.
In general, 30 seconds of immersion is sufficient. A tank sized according to the material to be treated is required, and to avoid loss of the preservative, it is recommended to install a drainage channel to collect the excess product that runs off the wood for later reuse.
