JIMO Silicone is a premium product with high water resistance because it relies on silicone oil alone for shine. Contains no shine additives such as petroleum jelly, glycerin, or sugar syrups.
Household use: for furniture, stoves, refrigerators, window frames, and wooden items in general.
Automotive use: for dashboards, door panels, side moldings, consoles, tires and rubber parts, and bumpers on cars, motorcycles, trailers, and buses.
Industrial use: part release in injection molding, non-carbonizing on rubber and plastic in general. Its low surface tension lets it spread easily over clean surfaces, making them water-repellent and non-stick.
Forms a protective layer against moisture and rust on both metal and non-metal surfaces
Apply JIMO Silicone Liquid undiluted, in small amounts, with a soft cloth or sponge, spreading it in circular motions. Then buff with a dry cloth or flannel.
CAUTION: Avoid contact with automotive glass. To prevent slippery surfaces, do not apply to floors, pedals, or leather upholstery.
In rare cases, when plastics are manufactured with pigments that have low resistance to ultraviolet radiation and to organic solvents, the solvent in the JIMO Silicone Liquid formulation — like any other organic solvent — may cause whitening of the part it is applied to.
In these cases, use JIMO Silicone Gel or JIMO Silicone Aerosol instead.
