Open the plastic bag carefully so you don't damage the refill.

Place the refill inside the plastic basket, making sure the tabs stay inside the basket.

Place the plastic basket inside the tank. Make sure it seats correctly in the grooves at the corners of the tank.

Make sure the lid is locked in place — you should hear it click.

When the liquid reaches the level mark on the tank, or once the granules have dissolved, pour the liquid down the drain and insert a new refill.

Note: with a 200 g (7 oz) refill, the maximum volume in the tank is 400 mL (13.5 fl oz); with a 450 g (15.9 oz) refill, it is 900 mL (30.4 fl oz). Clean off any existing mold before using the product. Take care not to spill the liquid collected in the tank.
