JIMO Água-Repelente 700 is a water-based water repellent, ready to use, developed to protect porous surfaces. It contains microparticles that penetrate, react, and strongly adhere to the substrate, forming a chemical barrier that repels and reduces water absorption.

JIMO ÁGUA-REPELENTE 700 must be applied to dry and clean, porous surfaces, free of irregularities (holes, cracks, fissures, peeling), and free of dust, calcination, efflorescence, oil or grease stains. Never apply to damp surfaces; wait at least 48 to 72 hours of dry and sunny weather before proceeding with the application.
Stir the product before use. Apply from top to bottom using a brush, wide brush, or spray gun, with a generous coat of JIMO ÁGUA-REPELENTE 700 until the surface is evenly moistened, without dripping. On surfaces with high absorption capacity, it is possible to apply up to two coats, as long as it is wet-on-wet, with less than 15 minutes between the first and second coat.
On substrates with low porosity, any excess product must be removed with a dry cloth to avoid staining.
Surfaces treated with JIMO ÁGUA-REPELENTE 700 can receive paints or any other finish based on organic solvents. Water-based paints cannot be applied, as they reveal the water-repellent action of the product.
The product dries in 24 to 48 hours. Full curing occurs in three weeks, depending on local climate conditions.
